The Pico technology continuous monitoring system reduces the risk of non-compliance with accreditation requirements for monitoring temperature, relative humidity, and other critical parameters in temperature-controlled laboratories. The flexible alarming capabilities reduce the risk of imprecise measurements due out-of-tolerance conditions and reporting is designed to be easily customizable and exportable to spreadsheet for manipulation and analysis. For quality control, as well as accreditation and regulatory assessments, laboratory managers have easy access to environmental condition data, secure and complete records, dependable alarming and reliable measurements. However, traditional monitoring equipment, such as chart recorders, is incapable of delivering the requisite data because of their relative inaccuracy, poor reporting capacity and lack of alarm capabilities. Our laboratory monitoring system provides the ability to measure barometric pressure, ambient temperature, relative humidity, CO2, air density and all you need to measure. The transmits these measurements via an RS-232, USB or RJ45 interface to a PC. The supplied software can then be used to monitor and log all the above parameters for one or more simultaneously. The supplied software allows the Pico technology system to be used as a standalone instrument and performs a variety of functions, including various units’ selection, as well as data logging. The Pico technology is an ideal replacement to older data loggers such as mechanical strip chart recorders. The software includes options for logging in intervals of 1 minute, 5 minutes to 240 minutes. The space delimited text file keeps file sizes small
